Question and Answer:
a.
Looking forward what do you think will be the major
challenges for
Unlike many of our neighbors facing serious major challenges, I am proud to be on a team that has Clifton Park on solid footing. Currently because of vision and planning of committees I have served on and fiscal management by our Town Board we are in a position to withstand the current economic storm. Our collective vision and planning allows us to keep the quality of life our neighbors love.
b. Why
are you running for office?
Proud resident of Clifton Park for 30 years, 25 of which include involvement in many volunteer activities including youth sports, local businesses, town committees and boards. I want to continue serving my neighbors; this is why I am running for Councilman on the Town Board.
I will continue leveraging my managerial experience and community involvement protecting quality of life issues I’ve worked for. I’m most proud of working on our award winning Open Space Master Plan. Committees I have chaired and served on created jewels like Mohawk Landing Park in Rexford, Dwaaskill & Northwoods Nature Preserves to name a few. I have worked to maintain and create recreational opportunities and my work on the Recreation Master Plan Advisory Committee can come closer to fruition as a member of the Town Board.
My Committee involvement isn’t my only experience, but what I bring is one of Husband, Father, Coach and Business advocate. These experiences give me a diverse perspective and a love of this community. Raising my 2 children here and being active in sports as Director and Coach of Jonesville and Clifton Park Baseball Leagues motivates me to always stay involved. Our quality of life is because of our strong economically stable community and low crime rate. I have engaged the economic engine serving 11 years on the Board of Directors of the Southern Saratoga Chamber; working tirelessly to expand membership bringing local businesses closer to our community. My knowledge and experience brought balance to growth while serving on our Planning Board.
I want to serve the residents of Clifton Park continuing my commitment to our quality of life. On November 3rd I would be honored to have your vote.
