Looking forward what do you think will be the major
challenges for
I am proud to be part of a team that has prepared for challenges confronting communities all over our state. In Clifton Park we have been able to avoid these challenges because we have planned for our future. I have been part of the team that maintains a healthy surplus with No Town Property Tax for our residents, all without sacrificing the important services I have fought for. I am proud Clifton Park stands as an example of fiscal management that has us prepared for today’s economic conditions.
b. Why
are you running for office?
As a resident of Clifton Park for over 39 years and a member of the Town Board for 14 years I have loved this community working hard to help make it the place we all love to live. I want to continue keeping this community the Safe, Family Friendly and livable town I have been part of nurturing and shaping.
To keep us safe I created and maintain our Community Watch program and have been instrumental in our partnership with the NY State Police and County Sheriff. Our own Town Security force patrols neighborhoods keeping us safe without the corruption of big city police departments. This fiscally responsible partnership helped us to create many other programs I am proud of.
I have fought for seniors by supporting our expanded senior center, transportation and creating opportunities for additional senior housing. I have fought for families by preserving open spaces, creating parks and recreational opportunities. Our summer programs like full time day care and camp programs are appreciated by the many families we help. We have first class festivals, entertainment and sports fields that our residents enjoy year round. We have parks both passive and active for all lifestyles with continued development of our trail system. I am proud we have created 13 miles of new trails and I am committed to continue to expand the system.
I am running for office to continue what I have started and keep the community the place we are all glad to live in. I humbly ask you to Re-Elect me by casting your vote on November 3rd.
